I got hit by a kid riding his bike like a speed demon. Newsong ministry center, corner of the street.
Sad part: watching him slam into my stopped vehicle, scraping my car with his bike as he falls
Hilarious part: seeing the kid literally in slow motion with both arm grabbing onto the hood of my car unsuccessfully keeping himself from sliding to the floor. Imagine a cartoon scene of a bird...

EAP changes.
Its been 2 weeks. I am still getting used to being at home. I feel incredibly antsy all the time.
Here are a few post-eap changes that I find myself experiencing:

I am an evening runner. Yes, I now classify myself as a Runner.
I so light heartedly signed myself up for the Nike Women’s Marathon… thinking “oh, wow this is going to be SO FUN!!” Now I have to face the consequences of having to train for this dang run because I refuse to waste $75 + the right to say that I’ve run a half marathon in hilly San Francisco.

Not exactly excited to be going home, but I guess I am pretty okay with going back.
I’ve met amazing people, seen amazing things, and now its time to go on living the “normal” life.
Shanghai was a great learning experience, Thailand was amazingly fun and beautiful, Taiwan had delicious food and well-mannered people.

我不喜歡寫中文簡體文字。

我需要更多的練習中文 要不然我的父母會覺得我去了中國，並沒有學到什麽。
1. I miss my home-life routine.

Canyoneering 2010
Zion 2010 :) To say the least, this years trip was different from the previous year but still pretty awesome.
Bad weather. Before the trip I kept thinking that I just wasted $200+. Coming back however, I would do it all over again. I met great people, made new friends, did get to do some canyoneering&rappelling, and got to get away from normal life for awhile. So after a million different...

Walking back from class today, I was passing by a (oldish) short little man in aviator sunglasses. I smiled slightly to acknowledge him and he says to me, ” You look like a daydreamer, and THATS Nice!” haha by far that is the most unique & random compliment I’ve ever received.

—santa anita loop — city adventure: Portos, Americana, Old abandoned LA zoo@ griffith, korean bbq @ Moodaepo, scoops. I recommend abandoned Zoo + griffith. wearing shoes are best if you want to climb around - lots of broken glass & darkness in the lions/animals dens.
